Live-In Comfort provides specialist, personalised care and support to individuals in their own homes within the Sussex and Surrey areas – offering night-care services only for clients in the Brighton & Hove district and surrounding areas. Our focus is person-centred and outcome-based, and our staff have either a background in care or nursing, and have experience of live-in care and support work.

The Registered Manager, Carole Bello, understands that success is dependent on the high standards she sets for the company. She is, therefore, committed to providing staff with the best training and support available. As a result, a majority of Live-In Comfort staff have been with the company since it was founded over 20 years ago. Carole is as passionate now about providing high quality care and support for clients in their own homes as she was when she first joined Live-In Comfort back in 1995.

All our care and support staff are subject to a rigorous recruitment and selection procedure, including verification of all previous employment and three references, two of which must demonstrate relevant experience. The recruitment process involves a personal interview and an enhanced police check (DBS). Then, we must be absolutely satisfied that the candidate can demonstrate qualities such as understanding, compassion, commitment, reliability and flexibility. Staff that are successful and are offered employment undergo a comprehensive induction and training programme, including shadowing of experienced staff, before being offered their first assignment.

Live-In Comfort Ltd is a long-time member of the United Kingdom Home Care Association (UKHCA) and of the British Association of Domiciliary Care (Ceretas). We are also accredited to, and have spot contracts with, a number of local authorities, including Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire and Kent.
